Privacy
The short version
This site has no advertising and no tracking scripts, and it doesn’t set cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare’s cookieless analytics, which doesn’t identify you. The only personal information we receive is what you type into the contact form.
The contact form
When you submit the contact form, we receive the fields you fill in: your name, work email, company, role, what you’re looking for, your message, and optionally how you heard about us.
- The form is processed by a small program running on Cloudflare, which turns it into an email sent to contact@whitepinelabs.io. The submission isn’t stored in a database.
- Cloudflare Email Routing forwards that email to our Gmail mailbox, so Google also processes it, under Google’s privacy policy.
- If no engagement follows, we delete the email 12 months after we receive it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
- We use your information only to reply to you. We don’t sell it, share it, or add you to a mailing list.
Please don’t send passwords, credentials, or sensitive technical details through the form. We’ll arrange a secure way to share those if an engagement needs them.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile runs only on the contact page. It examines signals from your browser to make that decision, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Visit counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn’t use cookies or local storage, and doesn’t build a profile of you across sites. We see totals, such as page views, referring sites, and country, not individual visitors.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. We don’t use those logs to identify or track visitors.
